After the purchase of GitHub in USD 7.5 billion, now Microsoft is going full strangle to compete against the Amazon’s AWS and also with the Google’s G-suite for its cloud computing platform of the Microsoft Azure. In an elegant move, now the tech giant has partnered with the India-based mobile advertising platform InMobi to speed up it’s marketing for the enhanced consumer experience.
One of the global providers of marketing solutions, InMobi will allow the marketers to easily get a 360-degree view for every customer at the Microsoft Azure.
Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft said that the amalgamation of the Microsoft Azure with the InMobi’s marketing platforms would deliver to the new intelligent customer business and experiences insights to organizations around the world.
InMobi said that in the competitive cloud market, currently, the Microsoft is opening doors to achieve more in the cloud space, which might be shaking up the market’s landscape with the AI-backed marketing approach from one of the disruptors in the tech space.
In a press release sent by the InMobi, Naveen Tiwari, Founder and CEO said that With the Microsoft’s privacy and compliance, global reach and advanced security next to the InMobi’s scale and also with the decade-long experience in the mobile-first technology, now we can truly interrupt the marketing ecosystem.
He also added that the company will be at the front position of the changes and will develop beyond its pure-play advertising platform to an integrated and comprehensive suite of marketing and advertising platforms.
In the year 2007, the mobile advertising platform was the first founded to attain the unicorn status in the year 2017. The company has not only disrupted the Indian advertisement tech space, but it has also hit the global market to bring some best marketing solutions for the enterprises.
Is MSFT is planning to take Over the Cloud Market?
The partnership between both the companies is a winning-winning situation for them. While Azure will power the InMobi to up its game in the market to compete against the Facebook and Google with its AI, InMobi will leverage the consumer approach through its path-breaking marketing tools.
After the purchase of Github’s by Microsoft, the deal is not less than a warning sign for the competitors Google and AWS. According to the Gartner’s recent data, there are barely any businesses which have not even adopted the cloud platform to combine their business Data. The recent report also disclosed that the cloud market is shortly going to be USD 53 billion by the year 2019.
To competition in front of the dominant player in the market AWS, now it is given that the Microsoft is using its nail and tooth to cut the competition successfully. According to a recent Synergy Research report of February 2017 sets AWS’ market share at the 40 percent, with the Microsoft, IBM, and Google, and that they have grouped combined at 23 percent.

However, both the players are looking at some additional opportunities in combining the power of InMobi’s Marketing and Advertising Cloud capabilities with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 on the back of the global Azure infrastructure, which includes the AI, machine learning and also the analytics.
Since the companies will also need to work with the close cooperation on the go-to-market approach which offers some integrated marketing and advertising solutions to the Microsoft’s global enterprise client base.
The InMobi Marketing Cloud will be successively launched the market-wise worldwide over the next six months.
