Activating Multilingual Text Prediction in Windows 10

Microsoft is making Windows more and more comfortable to use with every subsequent version of Windows. The company has released a new feature which is helpful especially for the typists working on more than one Latin script. Since the user doesn’t need to switch between the languages manually anymore, the task to type in Windows has become more compatible, suitable and labor saving.

The common Latin language includes English, Spanish, French, and German, etc. So if you want to switch between the languages, you don’t have to perform a task to select a particular language since the company is offering an opportunity to activate the Multilingual Text Prediction. It is a step taken by the company to make the typing in Windows 10 smarter than before by assisting the user with the multilingual text predictions.

Activating Text Prediction with Settings app

  1. Press Windows Key + I button to open the Settings app in your computer.
  2. Now, go to Devices section on the left pane.
  3. Navigate to Typing and click to open.
  4. Move to Multiple text prediction
  5. Turn the Toggle button on.

Activating Text Prediction with Registry

  1. Press Windows key + R. it will open the Run
  2. Now, type regedit in the run program.
  3. The Registry Editor window will open.
  4. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT _USER and click to expand it.
  5. Now, navigate to Software to find and open Microsoft
  6. Select Input and then go to Settings.
  7. In the right pane of the window, create a new 32-Bit DWORD value called MultilingualEnabled.
  8. Don’t worry if your system is running on 64-Bit Windows, you can still create a 32-Bit DWORD.
  9. Now, set the value to 1. It will enable the feature.
  10. If the value is set to 0 then the feature will be deactivated.

Now, the feature is enabled in the system,and you can use the Multiple Text Prediction feature. You can type anything without putting efforts to switch between the languages manually, and the software will automatically assist you with different styles and languages.
